"Bookings for the upcoming 2025–26 season of Advance Pench Safari have begun."
An ideal location to reminisce about your early years while reading the well-known tale "The Jungle Book."
Pench National Park is situated in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh, in the center of India. One of the most well-known wildlife sanctuaries in India is Pench National Park, which gets its name from the clean River Pence that runs through it. The park is one of India's most popular tourist destinations. Since then, several wildlife enthusiasts visit this location each year in hopes of seeing the well-known book characters, Raksha (the female wolf), Akela (the Indian wolf),
The ferocious Shere Khan (Royal Bengal Tiger), Baloo (Sloth Bear), and Raksha (the female wolf).
The diverse wildlife of Pench National Park, which covers an enormous 758 square kilometers, including the core region, allows tourists the chance to enjoy one of India's best wildlife experiences. The park has been home to many fascinating species since it was established as a wildlife sanctuary in 1965. These include the Royal Bengal tiger, jackal, peafowl, wild dog, wild boar, sloth bear, Indian leopard, fox, striped hyena, monkey, gaur, barking deer, four-horned antelope, Indian wolf, and many more. The sanctuary did, however, receive designation as a national park later in 1975 and as a tiger reserve later in 1992. the sanctuary got the recognition of national park and tiger reserve, respectively.
Interestingly, the forest area of Pench is contiguously shared by two Indian states, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. From the total 758 square kilometres of Safari space in Pench National Park, 257 sq. km lies in Maharashtra. This allows tourists to commence their Jungle Safari in the Pench tiger reserve from either side. As the wildlife inside the park knows no boundary, the chances of spotting the fauna do not vary in any region whatsoever. If the tourists want to enter the jungle from the Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh or find entering through the Nagpur district of Maharashtra comfortable, Pench enables safari booking from both routes.
